How to Pick Up Your Rental at Tampa International Airport (TPA) Economy Parking Garage

TPA Economy Parking Garage is the sole approved parking area for Turo rentals and small private rental companies. Non-compliance with their parking policy will incur fines ranging from $75 to $300, and our company will be prohibited from using their garage. TPA employs license plate readers that track vehicle locations, and our plates are identified as rentals.

Please respect this restriction and arrange accordingly to return your rental promptly.

Follow these detailed instructions to locate your Top Car Share rental at Tampa International Airport’s Economy Parking Garage, Level 6 - Green Section (Roof Level):

Locate SkyConnect on Level 3:

From the terminal, head to the 3rd level between the Hard Rock Cafe and P.F. Chang’s restaurant to find the SkyConnect entrance.

Go to Level 4:

Follow the SkyConnect signs and take the escalator or elevator to the 4th level.

Board the SkyTrain:

Locate the SkyTrain, which will take you directly to the Economy Parking Garage and Car Rental stop.

Get Off at the First Stop:

The first SkyTrain stop is the Economy Parking Garage.

Turn Right Upon Exiting the SkyTrain:

After exiting the SkyTrain, turn right and head toward the Orange and Green sides.

Descend to the Ground Level:

Use the escalator or elevator to go down to the 1st level (Ground Level).

Exit out of the elevator's ground level and walk toward the first green elevator to your right.

Walk Toward the Green Elevators:

Once on the ground level, walk toward the Green Elevators, which are located before the Orange Elevators.

The green elevators are the first you'll encounter before the orange elevators.

Take the Green Elevator to Level 6 (Rooftop):

Enter the Green Elevator and ride it to Level 6, the top level of the parking garage.

Enter any of the green elevators and press the 6th level or the top level to the garage.

Find Your Vehicle on the Roof Level:

Exit the elevator and turn left to locate your vehicle. Cars are typically parked facing out in the aisles:

Aisle 11: To your left

Aisle 10: Straight ahead

Aisle 9: To your right

Once you reach the 6th level, exit immediately to your left and out into the open lot to find your rental ahead of you.

Confirm the Correct Garage:

Remember, Level 6 Green at the Economy Parking Garage is the roof. If you’re in a covered area labeled Level 6 Green, you’re in the wrong garage.

Your rental will be parked in any of the rows from 11 to 9 from right to left.

What to Do Upon Arrival

• Locate Your Parking Ticket:

  • The parking ticket will be placed in the cupholder or near the center console area. Avoid leaving it on the dashboard or visor.
    

• Take Required Photos:

  • Parking ticket placement.

  • Keys secured in the lockbox.

  • Odometer and fuel or battery level.

  • Full view of the vehicle to help us identify its location.
    

• Inspect the Vehicle:

  • Feel free to take additional photos for your records, especially if you notice any dents, damages, or cleanliness concerns.

  • Cleanliness is important to us, but rare time constraints may limit preparation.
    

• Fuel and Battery Standards:

  • Vehicles are delivered with no less than 3/4 tank of fuel or 80% battery charge.

  • Please return the vehicle in the same condition to avoid a convenience fee.

Exiting the Economy Parking Garage

Once you’ve located your rental and are ready to leave, follow these steps to exit the Economy Parking Garage efficiently:

• Drive Toward the Back Wall on the Orange Side:

  • From your parking spot, head toward the back wall of the roof level on the Orange side.
    

• Turn Left and Proceed Down the Ramp:

  • Make a left turn and follow the ramp downward.
    

• Keep Left and Stay Alert:

  • Continue making left turns as you descend, and watch for vehicles merging onto the ramp from lower levels.
    

• Exit via the Toll Gates:

  • At the bottom of the large ramp, you’ll reach the toll gates.

  • Use the self-check lanes to exit with a credit card. Insert your parking ticket with the barcode facing up into the teller slot.

  • If you prefer to use a cashier, merge into the left lanes for in-person assistance.
